Dwayne Whitten
I was born on
In 1994, I graduated with
a double major in Accounting and Business Administration, with a minor in
Computer Science. I then started working as a programmer/analyst for Arkansas
Systems, Inc. in
In the Spring of 1995, I entered the MBA program at Henderson State University, also in Arkadelphia. Five semesters later, I graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree.
I taught in the School of Business at the University of Arkansas at Monticello during the 1998-99 school year and the School of Business at Henderson State University during the 1999-2000 school year. I was an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the School of Business at Ouachita Baptist University from 2000-2002 and taught in the Information Systems Department at Baylor University in Waco, Texas from 2002-2005 while also pursuing a Doctorate of Business Administration (major = Computer Information Systems) at Louisiana Tech University. I have since completed my degree and am currently teaching in the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University.
I am a life-long believer in Jesus Christ and know that He is my Savior. My
faith in Him has gotten me through the worst of times and will continue to
provide support for me for the remaining time I have left on this earth. “In
all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths” Proverbs
3:6.
